Industrial Project preview

Faced with increasing demand and operational issues that became especially acute during the COVID-19 pandemic, Decathlon Latvia, in partnership with Zen IS, developed and implemented an innovative customizable order picking module for the E-commerce platform.

This solution has enabled automation, optimization and centralization of the order fulfillment process, which has improved performance indicators including turnover and conversion, increased customer and team satisfaction, and reduced operating costs.

From Challenges to Solutions:

Project Journey

The planned increase in the workload in the online sector, which escalated especially during the quarantine measures, revealed a significant lag in the manual order fulfillment technology of Decathlon Latvia. Recognizing the need for modernization, the management of Decathlon Latvia decided to implement a more efficient technology. The digitalization and integration of this solution was successfully carried out by Zen IS. The main goal of the project was to maintain high standards of customer service and support employee morale, including in the unprecedented situation associated with the pandemic. On the part of Decathlon Latvia, the task definition, coordination and joint development of solution algorithms, implementation, as well as control and overall coordination of the project were carried out by Alex Schtelbe with the support of the regional management and the E-commerce team.
