What does Schtelbe Technologies do?
Schtelbe Technologies builds custom software for businesses: mobile apps, RPA automation, and executive dashboards. We are a team of 15 based in Riga, Latvia, founded in December 2023, and we work with clients worldwide.
Rather than selling a fixed product, we build the thing a particular business actually needs — see what we have delivered.
How much does a project cost?
Projects start from €15,000. What a specific project costs depends on its scope, the systems it has to work with, and how much of the work is discovery rather than build.
You are not asked to commit to a number early. Budget, technical scope and deadlines are all confirmed together at step three of our process, after the analysis and concept work — so the figure you agree to is based on a defined piece of work rather than an estimate made before anyone understood the problem.
How does a project work, step by step?
Six steps, and you are involved in four of them:
- Goal definition — we discuss your needs and define the target.
- Prototype visualisation — analysis, evaluation, and a visualised concept.
- Contract signing — budget, technical scope and deadlines confirmed, then the contract.
- Development — the build, with follow-ups.
- Project testing — testing and correction.
- Implementation — rollout, with a guarantee.

Where are you based, and do you work with clients outside Latvia?
We are based in Riga, Latvia, at Grostonas iela 19 - 1, LV-1013, and we work with clients worldwide.
We work in English, Latvian and Russian. The registered company is SIA Schtelbe Technologies, registration number 40203529503, VAT LV40203529503.
What kinds of software do you build?
Three main areas: custom iOS and Android apps for operations, customers and internal teams; RPA automation that removes repetitive manual work across spreadsheets, reports and business systems; and focused apps and dashboards that help leaders track work, decisions and key business signals.
In practice that has meant logistics tracking, warehouse fulfilment, manufacturing visibility, call-centre scheduling and consumer health apps — the case studies cover each.
What is RPA, and when is it worth automating a process?
RPA — robotic process automation — is software that operates your existing applications the way a person would, clicking through screens and moving data between systems, without those systems having to be changed or replaced.
It is worth it when a task is repetitive and rule-based, and especially when the systems involved offer no API to integrate with properly. Our Horizon automation is a clear example: the configuration work was UI-only, the authentication could not be automated, and the same changes had to be repeated across many company accounts. A UiPath robot using computer vision removed the manual effort and the configuration errors with it, and the client's own staff can now run it without a developer.
Can you work with the systems we already use?
Yes — most of our work is built around systems a client already runs rather than replacing them.
The Horizon project automated a financial system for Visma without any change to that system, working entirely through its interface. The AI shift management tool integrates with Horizon directly. Where a system has no usable integration point, computer vision automation is often still an option.
What technologies do you work with?
Swift for native iOS, Flutter where one codebase should serve both platforms, UiPath with computer vision automation for RPA, and IoT with real-time dashboards for production and warehouse environments.
We choose per project rather than per preference — each case study lists the stack it actually used.
Do you build for both iOS and Android?
Yes. We build natively where a platform's own capabilities matter, and with Flutter where a single codebase serving both is the better trade-off.
AppLine was built in Swift; the logistics platform and the AI shift tool were built in Flutter.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Some of our work is covered by non-disclosure agreements and appears on this site only in outline.
The AI shift management tool is an NDA project, and the production visibility project can only be shown as low-fidelity design. If confidentiality matters for your project, say so in the first conversation.
